Delaware Summer 3v3 League
3v3 summer basketball leagues are an all-time favorite among players and families! All games are played on the half-court. There are no real positions in 3v3, which allows players to learn spacing, moving without the ball, team communication, and offensive and defensive skills, and 3v3 gives each player optimal playing involvement. Games are competitive, and the fast-paced game structure makes it a great basketball environment for players and spectators!
Friday Night Games, July 5 – August 23, 2024 (no games Aug 9th)
Divisions: Open to boys and girls, grades 3rd-12th. (Grade is based on the 2023-24 school year)
Location: Chase Fieldhouse – 401 Garasches Ln, Wilmington, DE 19801
Registration Information: 3v3 league registration is made by individual player registrations, where each player can request specific teammates to form a team of their own. If no teammate requests are indicated, we will place the player on a team within their age group. The recommended team size is 4-6 players. Team size depends on each player’s availability and commitment to the league. Players must be within less than 1-grade differential of age to be placed on a team together. Please only request teammates you have already communicated with and mutually agreed to play together. Teams must have a minimum of four registered players per team.
League Details:
- Games on Friday nights, 6:00 pm-9:00 pm (each division will play within an avg. of a 1.30hr time block during this overall league time)
- The recommended team size is 4-6 players
- 7-Week Season
- Bracket-style playoffs during the last week
- 16-minute games
- Each team plays an average of 3 games per night, 21 total games
- Championship awards to divisional winners
